We are painting in Mountain View to encourage visitation of the Member Show at the Community School of Music. The entire block containing the library has interesting things to paint: the Mountain View Main Library, pieces of the Berlin Wall in front of the library, statues of “Wind in the Willows” characters behind the library, beautiful old trees in Pioneer Memorial Park behind the library, and City Hall and the Center for Performing Arts which face Castro St. Meet behind the library at the statues.
Directions: From the south, take 101 north, exit onto CA-237 W toward Mountain View, right onto El Camino Real, right onto Castro St, left onto Church St, right onto Franklin St. From the north, take 101 south, take N Shoreline Blvd exit, right onto Shoreline Blvd, left onto California St, right onto Franklin St. Parking at the library or on the street.
Attendance: Attendance is free and is open to all SCVWS members and non-members.
