About our Monthly Instagram Muse Challenge

We like to encourage creativity in our members and showcase their paintings on our Instagram Channel. Each month SCVWS presents a new Instagram challenge and asks members to submit their paintings interpreting the current theme. It's great fun and keeps our members brushes wet, plus we give a $25 gift certificate to the winner of the monthly challenge raffle.

Submission dates: 1st -30/31st day of the month (until noon on last day)
Must be a member to participate
Create a painting inspired by the current month's theme

Email your image to exhibits@scvws.org
jpg file type only - at least 600x600 pixels (medium size)
Ensure the image is clear & cropped - no mats in photo
Email subject line: "SCVWS (current month) Instagram Challenge"
Example: SCVWS April Instagram Challenge
Email body: Type your name, title of piece, size & price
Include your Instagram handle: if you have one
